Licensed beauty professionals must complete specific CEU hours every two years. If you don’t renew your license for over five years, you must take a refresher course at an accredited beauty school. Here are our courses:
Cosmetology
Renew with our 250-hour program to stay current on beauty trends, safety, and industry standards.
Barbering
Our 250-hour barbering course updates you on grooming techniques and hygiene.
Hair Braiding
Enroll in our 65-hour program to master sanitation, scalp care, and braiding techniques.
Nail Technology
Enhance skills with our 65-hour course on nail technology, sanitation, and customer service.
Professional Educators
Our 250-hour program boosts teaching methods and industry knowledge.
Requirements:
- Be a licensed professional in Illinois.
- Complete the specified refresher course hours.
- Submit a reinstatement application and fees.
We offer part-time (12 hours/week) and full-time (20 hours/week) schedules. Part-time takes about 3.5 weeks, and full-time about 6 weeks. Completion time depends on your dedication and attendance. Students can tailor their schedules within school hours.
